About Photo Joe
Great photography captures an event in a way that will stir memories and allow you to relive them again and again. A great photo allows you to share these moments with others giving them a sense that they experienced it with you.
Joe had been a photographer for more than 35 years. He worked for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel as a photojournalist for16 of those years and was the Wisconsin State Capitol photographer for the last 9 years. He comes from a family of photographers and started taking photos as a child, tagging along and learning about photography from his dad. He has photographed a wide variety of subjects, in many settings and locations, and under adverse conditions. From movie stars and U.S. Presidents to brain surgery patients and business executives; from devastating floods and tornadoes to beautiful weddings and exciting sporting events. He loved the challenges of making a great photo.
"You don’t take a photograph, you make it." - Ansel Adams
